Our History
Ampira Media is a division of FortuneCity.com Inc., a publicly traded company founded in 1997 and headquartered in New York City. In the late 1990's FortuneCity realized exponential growth by offering free web hosting solutions subsidized by online advertising revenue. As a result, FortuneCity grew to become the world's largest independent web hosting provider, hosting 10 million web sites in twelve languages, and became the 11th most visited web property on the planet by early 2000.
Needless to say, the Internet industry endured dramatic changes with only the very best companies surviving - FortuneCity is one of those few success stories. Since early 2000, FortuneCity overhauled its business strategy to focus on two opportunities, media sales and quality web hosting services. Ampira Media was created in 2001 to represent and sell the advertising inventory generated by FortuneCity as well as market third party affiliate sites and advertising products.
Today, Ampira Media is recognized by its advertising clients and content publishers for delivering high performance results with personalized service. The FortuneCity web hosting services business has established a reputation with its competition as the web services market leader for small businesses and individuals. The Company is well funded and financially successful. We demonstrate to our loyal customers each day our commitment to provide the best services available in market - without exception.
